A packaged STP treats domestic sewage so that treated water can be considered for reuse or discharge according to applicable standards, project requirements and test results.
The factory-manufactured packaged solution with a durable FRP structure, corrosion resistance and compact installation options. Final configuration depends on sewage characteristics, capacity and site conditions.
claims up to 70% lower power consumption versus conventional STPs; actual savings vary by design and operation.
Enclosed system and low-noise blower design are described to help control odour and sound.
Designed for automated operation, reducing the need for a dedicated full-time operator. Actual supervision and maintenance requirements depend on plant configuration, site conditions and local regulations.
Compact packaged design can require up to 60% less installation space than a conventional STP, as stated in the brochure. Actual space savings depend on plant capacity, layout and site conditions.
The modern manufacturing process with checks at each stage to support consistent quality, precision and reliability.
Controlled lamination process for strength and corrosion resistance.
Integration of essential mechanical components with quality checks.
Assembly with accessories and finishing as per design standards.
Dimensional and performance checks before dispatch.
From raw material to final product.
The manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad and describes a skilled team and modern infrastructure.
The process stages below follow the treatment sequence. Final process design should be confirmed for the specific plant model and wastewater.
Incoming domestic sewage enters the first chamber. Heavier suspended solids settle by gravity and are retained as sludge, reducing solids entering biological stages.
Under low-oxygen conditions, organic material is decomposed and recirculated nitrate/nitrite can be converted into nitrogen gas, helping reduce total nitrogen.
Air supplied through the aeration system supports aerobic microorganisms that break down organic material, reducing BOD and other pollutants while producing biological sludge.
Suspended biological solids settle. Settled sludge containing active microorganisms is recirculated to maintain biomass and support treatment efficiency.
A controlled chlorine dose disinfects the water. Reuse or discharge depends on achieved quality, applicable standards and project requirements.
The following are the inlet and outlet figures . These are design-basis figures, not a guarantee for every project; actual performance must be confirmed by design conditions and testing.
| Parameter | Inlet (Raw Sewage) | Standard Model Outlet | Advanced Model Outlet |
|---|---|---|---|
| pH | 6–8 | 6–8 | 6–8 |
| COD (mg/L) | 450 | 50 | < 50 |
| BOD (mg/L) | 300 | 20 | < 10 |
| TSS / SS (mg/L) | 240 | 30 | < 20 |
| Oil & Grease (mg/L) | 40 | 10 | < 10 |
Important: the outlet quality achievable at site depends on influent characteristics, hydraulic/organic loading, operation, maintenance and the final plant configuration. Confirm compliance requirements before specifying reuse or discharge.
The values below reproduce the annual running-cost comparison. Treat them estimates, not a universal cost quotation.
Bars compare the conventional-STP and Kobuta ECOTREAT estimates for each capacity.
Estimated annual saving , comparing ₹6.5 lakh/year for a conventional STP with ₹0.6 lakh/year for Kobuta ECOTREAT. Actual costs vary with energy tariffs, operating hours, loading and maintenance.
Summary of the comparison . Suitability and actual performance should be assessed for each project.
